Company isolation
Detailed schedules, rosters, post orders, reports, field contacts, person searches, trespass notices, and cautions stay within the selected company. Membership in several companies does not merge their records.
Security and data handling
How OffDuty HQ handles access, location, and operational records.
OffDuty HQ uses authenticated accounts, company approval, roles, and action permissions to control operational access. The Privacy Policy and Terms govern where their provisions apply.
Permission controls
Company approval, roles, assigned-location controls, and action permissions determine what a signed-in user can view or change. Private data is protected by authentication and server-side authorization.
Limited location collection
Precise device location is requested only at check-in and checkout when the device and browser permit it. OffDuty HQ does not continuously track location.
Time and audit integrity
A scheduled shift is not proof of work. Authorized users can explicitly close or correct time records, and corrections preserve audit history. Early checkout keeps the completed work record while the remaining coverage can reopen.
Operational report retention
Incident reports and attachments are retained in the platform for 60 days after submission and are then scheduled for deletion. Companies must export records they need to retain. Legally required preservation controls can override routine deletion, and secured backup copies may persist through normal backup cycles as described in the Privacy Policy.
Account and payment providers
Payment providers process payment-card information. OffDuty HQ may receive transaction, subscription, invoice, and billing status, but not the complete card number. When Google sign-in is used, OffDuty HQ does not receive the user's Google password.
Operational boundaries
The platform is not an evidence-management system, official police reporting system, public trespass registry, criminal-history search, or substitute for a company's legal and retention policies. Do not upload restricted criminal-justice information or unnecessary sensitive information.
